Samuel Maurice Inman, III of Indian Trail, 73, passed
into the arms of Jesus in Presbyterian
Hospital-Matthews on Thursday morning April 11,
2013.
He was born on January 27, 1940 to the late Samuel
and Hazel Wolfe Inman of Mt. Airy.
He was raised in Mount Airy and graduated from Mt.
Airy High School. He attended UNC Chapel Hill. He
was a volunteer of Return Ministries and also Jackson
Training School. He retired after 30 years from Belk
Store Services, also The Nephrology Group in
Charlotte. He was a wonderful husband, father and
friend to all who knew him. He will be truly missed by
all.
He is survived by his wife of 5 years, Ruth Long
Knight Inman; son, Samuel Inman IV of Charlotte;
daughter, Demarr Inman of Greensboro; step-son,
Brian Cecil Knight of Indian Trail; sister, Martha Inman
Tucker of High Point; nephews, Michael (Sharon) and
Randy Tucker of High Point and great-nephew, Jared
Tucker of High Point.   

Dusty here....I worked with Sam at Return Ministries
here in Charlotte, a jail ministry he was dedicated to!  
He was instrumental in getting me involved and i can't
wait to see
him in Heaven!
